Tajikistan calls for expanding cooperation with Iran in civil aviation field

Tehran, IRNA – The head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Tajikistan, while appreciating the representatives of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, described the specialized ability, professional approach, and level of cooperation of the Iranian team as unparalleled, and called for the continuation and expansion of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of civil aviation.

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed between the Civil Aviation Organizations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan, and in order to strengthen international interactions in the field of aviation safety, a team of experts from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran was dispatched to Tajikistan and audited and evaluated the safety oversight status of the Civil Aviation Organization of Tajikistan.

The Iranian team conducted an internal assessment of the current status of the safety oversight system of the Civil Aviation Organization of Tajikistan in eight specialized areas.

The eight areas of expertise included legislation (LEG), civil aviation organizational structure and management (ORG), personnel licensing and qualifications (PEL), flight operations (OPS), airworthiness and continuing fleet qualification (AIR), aviation accident and incident investigation (AIG), air navigation services (ANS), and airports and ground facilities (AGA).
