HM King orders Al Areen Reserve to be renamed Mohammed bin Zayed Nature Reserve

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): On the occasion of the United Arab Emirates’ celebration of its 54th Eid Al Etihad, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued an order naming Al Areen Reserve after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The Mohammed bin Zayed Nature Reserve comprises a visitor section featuring local wildlife and bird species, in addition to a dedicated conservation area for the Bahraini gazelle and the Arabian oryx.
The royal order reflects His Majesty the King’s appreciation of the pivotal role played by His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates in strengthening the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries, as well as His Highness’ sincere and steadfast support for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
