Chairman Kim Jong Il Remembered in China

 Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Families of those related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle in China met at the DPRK embassy in Beijing to hold a film show and a seminar on the exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il on Dec. 16 on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of his demise.
Among them were Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhong, Feng Songguang, son of Feng Zhongyun, Yue Zhi-yun, daughter of Zhang Weihua's daughter, and Yu Ming, son of Li Zade.
The participants laid a flower basket and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.
They also watched videos showing the successful 80-year-long journey taken by the Workers' Party of Korea to make devoted efforts for the good of the people and the eye-opening development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the seminar.
Speakers said that General Kim Jong Il is an outstanding leader who devoted all his life to the prosperity and development of the DPRK and the happiness of the people, defended the sovereignty and dignity of the state and steadily advanced the socialist cause, braving trials and difficulties.
They praised Kim Jong Il for having performed the great exploits that no great person in the world could do during his revolutionary career and stressed that the progressive people would never forget the world-historic exploits of the peerlessly great man. -0-
