Bahrain welcomes US decision to lift Caesar Act sanctions on Syria

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the decision of the United States administration to lift sanctions imposed on the Syrian Arab Republic under the Caesar Act.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s appreciation of this decision, commending the efforts of His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States, in this regard.
The ministry conveyed the Kingdom’s congratulations to the Syrian leadership and government on the issuance of the decision, which is expected to support efforts to enhance stability and advance recovery, reconstruction, and development.
The ministry also underscored Bahrain’s solidarity with the Syrian people and its support for efforts aimed at maintaining Syria’s security and stability, safeguarding its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, and fulfilling the aspirations of its people for peace, growth, and prosperity.
