Ambassador to Tunisia participates in 63rd session of Arab Health Ministers Council in Libya

Libya, Dec. 19 (BNA): Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Eid, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Tunisia, participated in the 63rd session of the Arab Health Ministers Council and its Executive Bureau meeting, held in the State of Libya, with the participation of Arab ministers of health.
During its meetings, the council reviewed developments in the health sector in the State of Palestine, in addition to discussing a number of successful and leading health experiences in Arab countries, with a view to exchanging expertise and improving the quality of health services across the region.
The session discussed the Arab strategy for the development of primary healthcare and family medicine for the period 2026–2030, as well as related topics, including the work of the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services and the Arab Development Summit decision on investment in health human resources.
The council further addressed items related to the work of the Arab Board of Health Specialisations and the Arab Centre for Authorship and Translation of Health Science, in support of health education, training, and professional qualification at the Arab level.
The session concluded with the adoption of a number of resolutions and recommendations, underscoring the importance of strengthening coordination and integration among Arab states and advancing joint Arab health action in response to current and future health challenges.
