Pakistani President receives Ambassador to Pakistan

Islamabad, Dec. 19 (BNA): His Excellency President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan received Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
HE President Zardari conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and extended his congratulations to Bahrain on the occasion of its National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne. He also wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
The President praised the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, rooted in shared values and mutual interests, and welcomed the positive outcomes of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s recent official visit to Bahrain, which contributed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
For his part, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to President Zardari, along with their best wishes for Pakistan and its people.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields in support of mutual interests.
