Bahrain Embassy in Italy hosts National Day reception

Rome, Dec. 18 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic hosted a reception to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its National Day and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, along with the accompanying national events.

Osama Abdullah Al Absi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, extended congratulations to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.

The reception was attended by senior officials, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Italy, representatives of international organisations, and figures from academic, economic, and media circles.

Luigi Di Maio, European Union Special Representative for the Gulf region, commended Bahrain’s regional role and the development of cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union, noting Bahrain’s support for dialogue and partnerships.
