Kyrgyzstan Airports and Turkish Airlines expand cooperation in air transportation

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2025 /Kabar/. The working meeting was held in Istanbul between Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzstan Airports and Bilal Ekshi, Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines.

As Manasbek Samidinov wrote on social media, the meeting was supported by the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul, headed by Consul General Chyngyz Toktobekov.

During the talks, the Turkish side expressed its willingness to cooperate with the state-owned airline Asman Airlines and confirmed its intention to increase the number of cargo and passenger flights. The discussion also included the possibility of operating flights with technical stops at Manas International Airport.

Bilal Ekshi accepted the message and expressed his readiness to further develop our partnership, emphasizing the high importance of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.

“For our part, we invited him to take part in the opening ceremony of the renovated airport complex of Manas International Airport, scheduled for the summer of 2026,” Samidinov noted.
