HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad attends Commemoration Day ceremony

Manama, Dec. 17 (BNA): Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the Commemoration Day ceremony, in the presence of His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operations, senior officers, non-commissioned officers, members of the Royal Guard, and a number of BDF officers.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad said that Commemoration Day is a national occasion of lasting significance that embodies the highest values of sacrifice, honouring the heroism of Bahrain's fallen servicemen who gave their lives in defence of the country, its leadership and its people. His Highness noted that their sacrifices will remain a source of pride and a guide for future generations.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad explained that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, provides care and support to the families of fallen servicemen, emphasising the established approach of appreciating their sacrifices and protecting the rights of their families, which reflects the values of loyalty and gratitude for their heroism in serving the nation’s dignity, security and stability. 

 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad added that the great sacrifices made by Bahrain’s fallen servicemen will remain present in the conscience of the nation and serve as a testament to their courage, bravery and dedication in performing their national duty. His Highness underlined that Bahrain’s personnel across military and security sectors continue on the same path, with determination and strong will, to protect the nation and defend its achievements in all circumstances.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that Commemoration Day will remain a symbol of national unity and a renewal of the pledge to continue working sincerely to preserve Bahrain’s security and stability.
