Riyadh to Host Conference on Future of Competitive Education

   Riyadh, December 16, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Educational and Psychological Association and the Research Excellence Center for the Development of Science and Mathematics Education are set to organize the scientific conference “Towards a Globally Competitive Future in Education” under the patronage of Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan from December 23 to 24 at King Saud University.
   Chair of the conference supervisory committee Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez noted that the event is organized within the framework of integration among all university entities to ensure efficient spending and unified efforts. He added that the conference targets higher and general education affiliates as well as education stakeholders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, while exploring the future of competitive education in the Kingdom through the topics and themes presented by its guests.
   He emphasized that the conference aims to anticipate future trends in light of the challenges and opportunities facing competitive education, enhance education through the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach as a fundamental pillar of competitive education, and highlight distinguished and competitive educational experiences and practices at the local level.
   The conference will discuss several key themes that contribute to envisioning the future of education in the Kingdom, with the participation of experts and leaders in general and higher education. It will address future trends in competitive education, the challenges and opportunities it faces, the role of technology in education, 12 vital topics on competitive education presented by a select group of experts, and 14 scientific and research papers prepared specifically for the conference.
