HM King receives invitation from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister to attend Expo Riyadh 2030

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written message from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, inviting His Majesty to attend Expo Riyadh 2030, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The message was delivered to HM the King by His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, during a meeting held today at Al Sakhir Palace.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed to HM the King the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with their best wishes for continued progress and advancement for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people under His Majesty’s leadership. HM the King, in turn, asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his sincere wishes to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people for further prosperity and development.
HM the King expressed his appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the invitation. His Majesty praised the longstanding and historical relations between the two kingdoms and the close cooperation and ongoing coordination at all levels, which contribute to the interests and development of both peoples. HM the King also wished the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia success in organising and hosting Expo Riyadh 2030, noting that the event will serve as an important global platform to showcase countries’ achievements and cultures, strengthen international cooperation, exchange experiences, ideas and expertise, and highlight major innovations.
For his part, Ambassador Al Sudairi expressed his gratitude to HM the King for His Majesty’s continued attention to strengthening the relations and solid historical ties between the two Kingdoms and their peoples.
