‘From AlUla’ Initiative Showcases Handicraft Creativity and Supports Local Talents

   AlUla, December 15, 2025, SPA -- The “From AlUla” initiative, part of the Tourism Cooperative Association in AlUla Governorate, is one of the prominent initiatives supporting handicrafts and local creative industries. The initiative has highlighted the talents of the governorate’s sons and daughters, including artisans and designers, by providing them with platforms to showcase their work in settings that reflect the depth of AlUla’s history and rich cultural identity.
   The initiative has engaged more than 250 creative individuals, offering them opportunities to showcase and market their products through a dedicated shop in the heart of AlUla’s old town. The shop features a diverse collection of handcrafted and creative products inspired by the region’s natural environment and cultural heritage. Products under the “From AlUla” brand have witnessed increasing demand from tourists and visitors, generating positive economic returns for participating artisans. This growing interest reflects the rising appreciation for local handicrafts, their cultural value, and the quality of their production, while reinforcing the region's unique identity.
   The initiative forms part of the association's broader efforts to enhance community participation, link handicrafts with tourist and cultural routes, and strengthen AlUla’s position as a destination that combines authenticity and creativity, reflects the region’s heritage, and keeps pace with the growth of the tourism sector.
