Hymns of DPRK People to Chairman Kim Jong Il

 Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- The land of the DPRK in December is filled with the yearning and reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il, who made ceaseless journey of devotion to the people all his life, regarding the pains he takes for the people as his pleasure, along with the songs in praise of the great man.
The hymns of all the people dealing with the noble revolutionary career of the peerlessly great man are an eruption of the noblest reverence of all the people across the country for the Chairman who performed immortal exploits on behalf of the times and revolution and for the country and people, undergoing all the pains he could take as a revolutionary and human being.
Since the first hymn "We Will Be Loyal to You Generation after Generation", which our people sang in praise of the peerlessly great man in the early 1970s, came into being, the reverence of all our people for the Chairman creditably carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche became the words and melodies of many songs in praise of him.
The songs praising the great sage of the revolution and the peerless patriot who made a long journey of loving care for the people despite unfavorable weather conditions, regarding it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven, still touch the hearts of the people.
