Bahrain Embassy in USA hosts reception for National Day celebrations

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United States of America hosted a reception marking Bahrain’s National Days and the Accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The event was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, along with officials, diplomats, and representatives from the US House of Representatives and Senate.

In his remarks, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on this national occasion. He expressed his pride in the achievements realised under the comprehensive development process led by HM the King, with the guidance of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Ambassador noted that the celebration reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s approach to building bridges and strengthening ties between peoples, cultures, and sectors. He highlighted the depth of the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, underscored by key agreements, including the Free Trade Agreement, the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), the resumption of direct Gulf Air flights between Bahrain and New York, and advanced cooperation in education, digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and healthcare.

He affirmed that the enduring and evolving bilateral relationship is founded on trust, shared values, and a common vision for a more stable, prosperous, and interconnected future.
