Bahrain Embassy in UAE hosts reception for National Day celebrations

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 13 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy in the United Arab Emirates held a reception marking Bahrain’s National Days and the Accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The event was attended by Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to the UAE, extended congratulations to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, expressing pride in the national occasion.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah also highlighted the Kingdom’s achievements under the comprehensive development plans led by His Majesty the King and the government’s initiatives under the leadership of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The ambassador commended the longstanding relations between Bahrain and the UAE, supported by HM the King and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the shared interests and close cooperation between the two countries.
He emphasised the close partnership between the two countries across trade, security, economic cooperation, joint investment, and political coordination, noting that it is built on mutual respect, shared religion, history, language, family ties, common goals, and a united destiny, reflecting the strong bonds between the peoples of both nations.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah added that these relations are based on longstanding ties, forming a legacy that reflects the strength of the connection and solidarity between the two nations.
