Iranian Para taekwondo athletes win colorful medals in 2025 AYPG

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Para taekwondo athletes have won nine colorful medals at the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG).

The Iranian Para athletes won nine medals, including four gold, three silver, and two bronze medals in the sporting event.

Abolfazl Imani (-58 kg) and Amir-Hossein Alizadeh (-63 kg), Maryam Abdollahpour (-57 kg), and Amir-Mohammad Haghighatshenas (-70 kg) each won gold medals.

Also, Zahra Soltani (-47 kg), Zahra Rahimi (-57 kg), and Romina Chamsoorki (+65 kg) each received silver medals. While Sahar Ghanbari (-52 kg) and Mehraveh Domehri (-65) each received bronze medals.

Iran has sent 194 Para athletes to the Games in 11 sports.

The fifth edition of the Asian Youth Para Games runs in Dubai from December 10 to 13.
