Iranian girls’ goalball team crowned champions at Asian Youth Para Games

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian women’s goalball team has won the championship title at the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games.

Iran’s path to gold was built on a flawless preliminary stage, where they secured four consecutive victories. Their impressive run included two wins against South Korea and two against Thailand, showcasing their strength and consistency leading up to the final.

The Iranian team faced Thailand in the final match in Dubai and emerged victorious with a score of 6-2.

The Iranian women’s goalball team had previously secured the silver medal in the last edition of these competitions held in Bahrain.

The fifth edition of the Asian Youth Para Games, which began on December 10, concludes today in Dubai.
