Saudi Reef Honored by the UN as Largest Agricultural Development Program in the Middle East

   Riyadh, December 09, 2025, SPA -- The United Nations has recognized the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) as the largest agricultural development program in the Middle East, and for its significant contributions to rural development and sustainable farming in the Kingdom.
   The accolade reflects the program’s extensive developmental impact, which includes supporting small farmers, improving rural product quality, boosting resource efficiency, and advancing sustainable, scalable agricultural practices.
   Saudi Reef spokesperson Majid Al-Buraikan stated that the award highlights the program’s far-reaching influence, empowering tens of thousands of rural farmers, improving product quality, advancing sustainable practices, and strengthening value chains in key sectors.
