Roundtable Discussions at IDWS Conference Spotlight Innovative Approaches to Water Governance

   Jeddah, December 09, 2025, SPA -- On the first day of the Innovation Driven Water Sustainability (IDWS) Conference, held in Jeddah from December 8 to 10, a roundtable discussion provided a key platform for international dialogue on the future of water governance and water-sector economics between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
   The session reviewed advanced global models for water governance and explored opportunities for cooperation and joint operations to enhance regional management of infrastructure, transportation, and treatment services.
   The discussion highlighted the Orange County Water District’s leading model for groundwater management, demonstrating how integrated coordination among local entities can sustain water resources and ensure reliable water supplies.
