SDAIA to Host International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building in January

   Riyadh, December 9, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) will organize the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building (ICAN 2026) on January 28 and 29 at King Saud University in Riyadh. The conference will bring together experts from more than 50 global and local entities, as well as academics and specialists in education and artificial intelligence (AI) from around the world.
   The conference is considered a unique global platform, gathering decision-makers in education, experts, and academics from government entities, universities, and leading technology companies.  Participants will discuss the future of human capacity building in data and AI, explore the future of work and human–technology integration, and review the latest AI technologies in education and training.
   ICAN 2026 will feature international panel discussions, interactive workshops, and a technology exhibition showcasing the latest solutions in education and digital transformation. It will also include the signing of strategic partnerships with universities and international institutions, along with the launch of key initiatives aimed at supporting the Kingdom’s digital capacity ecosystem.
   The organization of ICAN 2026 comes as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts, led by SDAIA, to invest in people as the primary driver of development, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which places technology and innovation at the core of sustainable growth and comprehensive prosperity.
