Thousands of Visitors Conclude Philippine Events, Ugandan Cultural Days Start Tomorrow

   Riyadh, December 08, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Media concluded the Philippine Cultural Days, part of the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, organized in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority. Held over four days at Al-Suwaidi Park, one of the Riyadh Season venues, the event featured a rich lineup of cultural, musical, and artistic performances introducing visitors to diverse aspects of Philippine culture and arts.
   The activities, implemented under the Quality of Life Program in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives, included more than 30 cultural events.  These comprised concerts, traditional performances, interactive activities for children, and pavilions showcasing handicrafts and fashion.
   The Philippine Cultural Days attracted thousands of citizens and residents of various nationalities. Filipino troupes presented a wide range of folk dances from different regions of the Philippines, alongside acrobatic performances, circus acts, and other activities reflecting the country’s cultural heritage.
   Continuing the series of multicultural events, the Uganda Cultural Days will launch tomorrow, featuring a selection of Ugandan artists and influencers. The program will include musical and folkloric performances, as well as interactive activities offering visitors insights into Ugandan life and culture.
   The participating pavilions will highlight Ugandan identity through traditional clothing, handicrafts, and popular cuisine, in addition to various cultural activities designed to immerse visitors in the country’s folklore.
   It is noteworthy that the second annual Global Harmony initiative is witnessing strong participation from within the Kingdom and abroad, along with wide local and international media coverage, underscoring its role in fostering cultural exchange among residents of the Kingdom and reflecting the diversity of their social and professional lives.
