Kyrgyz Ala-Too Resort attracts foreign investors

Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. The future Ala-Too Resort has attracted the attention of foreign investors, according to the press service of the state-owned enterprise Ala-Too Resort.

According to the press service, Azamat Kadyraliev, Deputy head of presidential administration Zharkynbek Maksutov, Director of the enterprise, along with investors from the People's Republic of China, visited the site of the future resort and inspected the progress of construction.

During the visit, the Chinese side noted the active development of the resort's infrastructure: roads are being laid, a cable car, and water supply facilities are under construction.

After inspecting the site, the investors expressed their interest in participating in the second stage of the auction for the land plots where the future Zhyrgalan village will be built.

In July, the first stage of the auction took place for land plots for the first phase of construction of the Ala-Too Resort resort area, located in the Khan-Teniri village of the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region. Local investors won 14 lots.

Another 35 lots will be offered in the second stage of the auction. The land plots are intended for the construction of 3, 4, and 5-star hotels, apartments and VIP cottages, an ethno village, restaurants, cafes, and other commercial facilities. If a foreign investor wins the lot, the plot will be leased for 49 years, while if a local investor wins, the land will be transferred to private ownership.

The auction will be open and online, and local and foreign investors, representatives of construction companies, entrepreneurs in the tourism and hotel industries, participants in public procurement, and other legal entities and individuals are eligible to participate.
