Kyrgyz companies to join EAEU cooperation project

Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. The cooperation project was approved for the production of personal computer system units with the participation of Kyrgyz company and the provision of a subsidy from the EAEU budget at Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on December 5.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the project applicant is Sberbank (Russia). It is being implemented by the Russian company Beshtau Electronics LLC, with the participation of companies from Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

It is noted that Kyrgyzelektronika LLC, which supplies metal cases for system units, is participating on behalf of Kyrgyzstan. The company's expected revenue under the project is 416.5 million rubles, with the delivery of 175,000 cases by 2030.

The project also includes a preparatory period (Q1 2026 – Q1 2027), the launch of two production phases, and full capacity in Q2 2028. The subsidy from the EAEU budget is 222.2 million rubles, which will reduce the lending rate from 23% to 6.5%, taking into account the Bank of Russia's key rate. The ministry also noted that the financial support mechanism for EAEU producers, which provides for interest rate subsidies on loans and borrowings for the implementation of joint cooperation projects, began operating in 2023. It was created to stimulate industrial cooperation and allows enterprises in member states to significantly reduce the cost of raising financial resources.

"Ministry of Economy and Commerce provided comprehensive assistance in preparing and supporting the project application. We encourage businesses to more actively participate in taking advantage of the subsidy mechanism," the statement says.

For reference: as cooperation projects are received, lists of applications are compiled twice a year, before April 1 and before October 1, and they are ranked according to priority based on a point system.
