Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the release of new silver collectible coin, "Tushoo Kesuu," from the "Kyrgyz Customs and Rituals" series. The coin will go into circulation on December 8, 2025.
The price of the new collectible coin is 6,940 soms. It can be purchased at the cash desks of National Bank branches on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, as well as through dedicated website for the sale of numismatic items.
The National Bank notes that the issue of the coin aims to preserve, popularize, and visually reflect the national traditions of the Kyrgyz people.
"Tushoo Kesuu" is one of the oldest Kyrgyz rites, symbolizing a child's first independent steps. Since ancient times, parents have performed this ritual to strengthen the child's path, wishing him a happy fate and confidence in life.
