Ali Moradzavi, known as Ali Talesh, was born in Hendkhaleh village in Sowme'eh Sara county, Gilan Province. He has been fishing since childhood and moved to the port city of Bandar Anzali for work and life.

Ali tragically lost his wife and two daughters, and part of his house was destroyed in a fire. After that, he never returned to live there, so that memories of the past would not haunt him.

Today, Ali lives in a small boat near Anzali pier, spending his days fishing and selling his catch. At night, his boat is his only refuge. Despite all the hardships, he remains optimistic and hopeful about life, striving hard to survive and carry on.

This photo series tells the story of the effort, hope, and resilience of a man who, despite immense suffering, has not surrendered to fate and continues to live life in its simplest form.
