Historic Jeddah Solidifies Cultural Hub Status with Launch of Red Sea Film Festival and Museum Inauguration

   Jeddah, December 05, 2025, SPA -- As part of the Ministry of Culture's efforts to revitalize Historic Jeddah, the area is cementing its position as a leading cultural destination by hosting a range of significant events.
   The Culture Square, a prominent landmark that previously won the MEED Projects Awards Culture Project of the Year, is hosting the fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival from December 4 to 13. The festival boasts broad international participation, featuring 111 films from Saudi Arabia and around the world, with 42 world premieres that attract leading figures from 71 countries.
   Coinciding with the festival, the Red Sea Museum will be inaugurated on December 6, reflecting the Museums Commission's role in promoting centers of knowledge and culture. Additionally, Historic Jeddah will feature a mobile cart for national and regional dishes, an initiative by the Culinary Arts Commission to highlight the diversity and cultural narratives of Saudi cuisine.
