2025-2026 DPRK Premier Football Leagues Kick Off

 Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The 2025-2026 DPRK Premier Football League and Women's Premier Football League kicked off.
The premier leagues bring together the men's and women's football teams at home including the April 25, Ryomyong, Sobaeksu, Amnokgang, Kigwancha, Pyongyang, Rimyongsu, Naegohyang, Wolmido and Jebi teams. They will be played into three stages.
The Hwaebul Team beat the Sobaeksu Team 3:1 and the Ryomyong Team the Rimyongsu Team 3:0 at the first stage of the premier football league held at Kim Il Sung Stadium on December 1.
At the first stage of the women's premier football league held at the Sosan Football Stadium, the match between the Jebi Team and the Kalmaegi Team drew 1:1 and the Amnokgang Team beat the Rimyongsu Team 1:0. -0-
