KSrelief Masam Project Removes 961 Mines from Yemeni Lands in One Week

Aden, December 01, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) "Masam" project cleared 961 mines from various regions in Yemen during the fourth week of November 2025. The removed devices included six anti-personnel mines, 92 anti-tank mines, 862 pieces of unexploded ordnance, and one improvised explosive device (IED).
The number of mines cleared in November reached 4,726, bringing the total removed since the launch of the Masam project to 526,460. These devices, planted indiscriminately across Yemen, have claimed the lives of children, women, and the elderly, and continue to pose a threat to civilians.
Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues its efforts to make Yemeni lands safer by removing landmines and supporting initiatives that enhance civilian protection and help restore secure and dignified living conditions for Yemenis.
