Saudi Export Development Authority Holds Trade Mission in Damascus

Damascus, December 01, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) held the Saudi trade mission to Syria in Damascus today, with the participation of more than 65 national companies from the goods, services, export, and re-export sectors.
The mission, which continues until tomorrow, includes several Saudi government entities such as the Ministry of Investment, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, and the Saudi Export-Import Bank. On the Syrian side, the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade is participating, along with several supporting entities.
The Saudi–Syrian trade mission features intensive bilateral business meetings between participating companies and their counterparts in the Syrian market to explore commercial cooperation, identify market needs, and establish partnerships that support the expansion of Saudi products and services in line with the development of national industries.
Saudi Exports seeks to enable national companies to access regional and global markets through programs and initiatives designed to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi products and increase the share of non-oil exports in the Kingdom’s non-oil GDP, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a diversified and sustainable economy.
