DPRK Made Successes in Efforts for Rising Generation in Period of Five-Year Plan

 Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- It has been four years since the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, held in December 2021, took important measures to supply school uniforms and things at the state expense.
During the period of the five-year plan, school uniforms for seasons and for the pupils and students were classified according to the names of millions of the pupils and students, not sizes, so as to provide them with the uniforms fitting them perfectly. The more regular system for their production and supply was established and fine factories for producing school supplies were built in different parts of the country. As a result, the advantages peculiar to the country were demonstrated.
At the said historic plenary meeting, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is the consistent policy of the Party and the state to supply school uniforms and supplies to all the pupils and students of the country at the state expense, and took important measures of the Party Central Committee to provide all the pupils and students with quality uniforms and bags of new styles.
In February 2023, new guidelines were issued to specify the points for measuring the sizes of the pupils and students according to sex, age and figure.
Officials and working people of the country brought about a surge in the production true to the decisions of the Party.
The light industry of the DPRK achieved successes in the production of materials for the production of school uniform and bag cloth and school things by increasing its own technical force.
All the workers at the garment and school thing factories made achievements in the production.
Officials and working people of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Education and in different parts of the country have displayed a high sense of responsibility in supplying the new school uniforms and bags and other school supplies to all the pupils and students of the country.
All parts of the DPRK have witnessed the construction of modern factories which specialize in making school uniforms, bags and footwear for their pupils and students.
During the period of the five-year plan for national economic development, the factories specializing in the production of school uniforms, bags and footwear were built and the modernization of the equipment was pushed ahead with, laying more solid material and technical foundations for the production of school things. -0-
