Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani inaugurated Maryam-e-Moqadas (Saint Mary) metro station on November 29, 2025, with the presence of a group of bishops from religious minorities and foreign guests. The station, part of Line 6 of the Tehran Metro, began construction in 2015 and is situated near St. Sarkis Cathedral in downtown Tehran.
