MWL Launches 'Minhaj' Platform as First Comprehensive Islamic Digital Reference Serving Muslims

Makkah, November 27, 2025, SPA -- Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa inaugurated in Makkah the MWL’s new digital platform, which includes the “Minhaj” application. The launch ceremony was attended by senior scholars of the Muslim world, representatives of Islamic bodies and organizations, and experts and specialists in Islamic affairs.
During the launch, an overview was presented of the platform's key features and its role in introducing a qualitative shift in the league's institutional communication system as part of its strategic plans to enhance engagement with Muslim communities inside and outside the Islamic world.
Al-Issa stressed that this digital transformation represents a significant step within the MWL's efforts to advance its technical tools and strengthen effective communication with Muslim peoples, particularly through streamlined technological services that meet their needs. He noted that the MWL continues to enhance its technical capabilities in line with the rapid development of modern technologies.
He said that the application is the first of its kind in terms of its extensive Sharia-based foundation, which brings together scholars of the Muslim nation who are members of the assemblies, bodies, and councils affiliated with the MWL. This grants the platform “a high level of institutional credibility,” ending the “confusion and contradictions” found in many circulating religious programs, while also “adding important new services,” making it a fully integrated technical advancement within an unprecedented international Sharia-based framework.
The “Minhaj” platform offers a wide range of interactive digital services in several world languages, filling a long-standing gap—particularly in addressing the confusion and contradictions found in many existing applications—while also adding essential and urgent services.
