Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): The Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted an official delegation from the United Kingdom as part of ongoing efforts to enhance international cooperation and expand areas of partnership in the justice and dispute resolution sector.

Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Secretary General of the Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, reviewed with the delegation the best practices in dispute resolution and capacity building. She highlighted the successful launch of the Bahrain International Commercial Court and the Global Justice Bay, which reflects efforts aimed at building a system in Bahrain based on neutrality, judicial excellence, and international cooperation.

Professor Paulsson said that advancing relations with strategic partners such as the UK is essential for supporting international trade, stimulating investment, and consolidating the principles of the rule of law, noting that openness to international experiences and the exchange of expertise contributes to developing the dispute resolution system.

The meeting discussed means to enhance joint cooperation in areas of mutual interest and to advance initiatives that enhance access to justice and establish a modern, innovation-based legal environment.
