AZERTAC’s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov wins six awards in Spanish photo contest

AZERTAC’s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov has won six awards at the prestigious “Photographer 2025” competition in Barcelona, Spain, organized annually by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).

This year’s winners were selected from 2,749 photographs submitted by 236 photographers from 55 countries.

On November 25, Ilgar Jafarov, a recipient of numerous international distinctions, was awarded the honorary title of Excellence FIAP Diamond 2 (EFIAP/d2) by FIAP.

In the 75-year history of FIAP (founded in 1950), Ilgar Jafarov has become the first photographer in the post-Soviet space (former USSR) to receive this prestigious title.
