Muncipalities Ministry Undersecretary participates in 3rd GCC Municipal Week in Kuwait

Kuwait, Nov. 24 (BNA): Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, participated in the 3rd GCC Municipal Week held in Kuwait.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed affirmed that Bahrain’s participation reflects its commitment to GCC cooperation and to sharing expertise and successful municipal practices to improve performance and service quality. He added that joint municipal projects among GCC countries are an important step toward unifying efforts and enhancing efficiency in municipal work across the region.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed said the event provides a joint platform to discuss municipal issues, strengthen integration and support initiatives that advance sustainable urban development. He noted the importance of working together to implement the approved municipal plans and projects for 2026, in support of the region’s goal of achieving more advanced and sustainable cities.
