Bahrain, Malta discuss customs cooperation

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of Customs, received Silvio Schembri, Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects of the Republic of Malta.

Both sides discussed efforts to enhance cooperation in the customs field.

Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad commended the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malta and the constructive cooperation across various sectors, particularly in the exchange of customs expertise. The two sides discussed several topics of mutual interest.

On his part, Minister Schembri underscored Malta’s commitment to enhance cooperation with Bahrain, particularly in customs and economic domains.
