The exercise aims to enhance the readiness of naval units in conducting maritime interception operations, addressing asymmetric threats, strengthening capabilities for both sub-surface and surface operations, and improving naval air defense.
It seeks to strengthen the capabilities of naval special forces in carrying out special missions and search-and-rescue operations, train naval aviation in planning and executing air operations against maritime targets, facilitate information exchange, build the naval and aerial tactical picture, and implement communication procedures of all types.
The Saudi participation comes as part of the Ministry of Defense’s efforts to develop the naval training system, enhancing the readiness of the RSNF and its ability to respond to regional and international challenges and changes.
