Saudi Shura Council Speaker arrives in Bahrain to participate in 19th GCC Parliamentary Leaders Meeting

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation, upon their arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The visit comes as part of the delegation’s participation in the 19th periodic meeting of the Leaders of Shura, Representatives, National and Ummah Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, to commence tomorrow in Bahrain.

Al Musallam and Al Saleh commended the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Shaikh Dr. Al Al Sheikh expressed his appreciation to the Speaker of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Council of Representatives for their efforts in strengthening GCC parliamentary cooperation, commending the Kingdom of Bahrain for hosting the 19th meeting of GCC Speakers.
