Bahrain participates in High-Level Regional Agricultural Dialogue

Amman, Nov. 12 (BNA): Asim Abdullatif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, participated in the High-Level Regional Agricultural Dialogue held in Amman.

The event was organised by the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development (AOAD) in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and several regional and international partners from November 5-6. The event featured the participation of ministers, senior officials, and experts from various Arab countries, as well as representatives of financial institutions and international organisations.

The meeting discussed efforts to promote sustainable agricultural development in the Arab region and exchange experiences on circular agriculture, innovation, and sustainable financing.

The Undersecretary underscored the importance of exchanging Arab expertise in agricultural development and strengthening regional cooperation to enhance food security. He emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to adopting effective initiatives to advance agricultural and livestock production in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
