Under patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, second season of ‘Qadha’ TV Programme launches

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), the launch ceremony of the second season of the ‘Qadha’ TV programme was held today. The event was attended by ministers, senior officials, artists, and invited guests.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad described the ‘Qadha’ programme as a pioneering initiative aimed at developing Bahraini youth based on discipline, leadership, commitment, and challenge. He noted that the programme enhances participants’ leadership, physical, and mental abilities through practical training that simulates military and disciplined environments, instilling teamwork, responsibility, and service to the Kingdom.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad added that the launch of the second season comes within the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, to empower Bahraini youth and strengthen their role in national development.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad added that the programme provides a unique platform for discovering young talents and unlocking their potential, emphasising that investing in Bahraini youth is key to the Kingdom’s future and crucial for strengthening Bahrain’s regional and global leadership.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also noted that the second season builds on the success of the first, reflecting Bahrain’s vision to prepare youth as the leaders of tomorrow, and he commended the dedication of the production team, trainers, and participants.
Ahmed Al Shaikh, the programme’s supervisor and director, expressed appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his inspiring vision and unwavering support, describing it as the driving force behind the programme’s achievements. He also thanked HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his close follow-up and constant encouragement to the team.
The ceremony included a behind-the-scenes feature of filming and rehearsals and a summary of production stages. The programme involved 60 days of planning and design, 40 working days, and 15 field trials. Filming took place at 20 locations over 10 days, covering 50 events with 100 participants, while post-production included 1,500 hours of footage and 400 interviews.
The second season of ‘Qadha’ will premiere for free on the Shahid platform on November 13, featuring 10 episodes.
