HM King receives Omani Interior Minister

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman, at Al Safriya Palace during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit was at the invitation of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.

His Majesty the King expressed Bahrain’s pride in its longstanding ties with Oman, which continue to develop through mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation in all domains.

Minister Al Busaidi conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to the Kingdom and its people, wishing them continued progress and prosperity under His Majesty’s leadership.

HM the King welcomed the Omani minister and extended greetings and best wishes to HM Sultan Haitham and to the Omani people for continued prosperity and success.

HM the King underscored the importance of such bilateral visits in promoting cooperation, coordination and joint action at all levels, particularly in security affairs, serving the shared interests of both nations.

HM the King also commended HM Sultan Haitham’s role in deepening bilateral relations and driving Oman’s ongoing progress and development.

The meeting reviewed recent regional developments and issues of mutual interest.

On his part, the Omani minister expressed deep appreciation of His Majesty’s efforts to enhance the longstanding ties and advance cooperation between Bahrain and Oman.
