Jeddah, Nov. 9 (BNA):  Nawaf bin Mohamed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf, and Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, signed the 1447 Hajj Arrangements Agreement as part of the final preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

The signing took place during Minister Al Maawda's participation in the 5th edition of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition, held in Saudi Arabia.

Minister Al Maawdah commended the efforts of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Pilgrims Experience Programme (PEP) in Saudi Arabia, for organising the conference, which serves as an advanced platform for exchanging expertise, showing best practices within the Hajj system, and highlighting innovative initiatives focusing on modern technologies.

Minister Al Maawdah further noted that this success builds on the achievements of previous conferences, which have become a destination for stakeholders and those interested in Hajj affairs from around the world, as well as an opportunity to explore the future of the Hajj service system.
