BJA Chairman congratulates Information Minister, Bahrain Radio on 85th Broadcasting Anniversary

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), extended congratulations on behalf of Bahrain’s media community to Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, and all Bahrain Radio staff, on the 85th anniversary of the first radio broadcast from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf.
Al Shaiji commended the minister and radio staff for their efforts in developing Bahrain’s radio sector and building on its long and respected legacy. He praised the professionalism and dedication of the Bahrain Radio teams, noting their important role and high standards.
He highlighted the achievements of Bahrain Radio, made possible through the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their commitment to empowering Bahraini media professionals and strengthening national media capabilities.
Al Shaiji affirmed the radio’s key role in serving the community, promoting national culture and values, and representing Bahrain positively at regional and international levels.
He extended his best wishes to the Minister of Information and Bahrain Radio staff for continued success and further achievements.
