Youth Minister meets Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, Nov. 5 (BNA):  Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, held a meeting with Ashraf Subhi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt, as part of her official visit to Cairo.

 

Minister Tawfiqi affirmed the depth of the relations between Bahrain and Egypt.  She commended the continuous growth and development of relations across various domains, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, particularly in strengthening youth cooperation.

 

Minister Tawfiqi underscored the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, highlighting the importance of his directives in achieving advanced Arab and international youth cooperation.

 

The meeting discussed means to enhance cooperation between the two ministries, reviewed the latest developments of the Bahrain-Egypt Youth Council, and examined the outcomes of the second meeting of the Hope Network and its future initiatives.  Both sides exchanged experiences in youth development and explored proposals for launching joint programs that serve youth cooperation in both countries.

 

For his part, Minister Subhi commended the progress achieved by Bahrain’s youth movement, noting that mutual visits play a key role in strengthening collaboration and exchanging expertise for the benefit of both countries.

 

During her visit, Minister Tawfiqi toured Egypt’s Ministry of Youth, the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, and visited Al Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital.

 

The minister congratulated Egypt’s leadership and people on the museum’s inauguration, commending it as a major cultural achievement that reflects the nation’s historical legacy and contributions to humanity.
