Foreign Minister meets U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Thomas J. Barrack, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

The meeting reviewed the close relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, as well as ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and cooperation to support development, prosperity, and shared interests.

The two sides also addressed regional developments and their impact on security and stability, as well as efforts to reduce tensions through dialogue and diplomatic solutions. They emphasised the importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve comprehensive and lasting peace for all peoples of the region.
