Bahrain, Tajikistan hold second round of political consultations

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): The second round of political consultations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Tajikistan was held today, co-chaired by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Farrukh Sharifzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The meeting discussed means to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains. It also addressed regional and international developments and coordination on issues of mutual interest in support of global peace and security.
Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of the Asian and Pacific Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
