Education Ministry Undersecretary participates in UNESCO dialogue on skills for a sustainable future

Samarkand, Nov. 1 (BNA): Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education, took part in a dialogue held on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Uzbekistan on skills needed for a sustainable future.

The discussion addressed global challenges affecting skills development, including rapid technological change, demographic shifts, and the gap between education outcomes and labour market needs.

Al Khater highlighted the importance of equipping students with technical, cognitive, and social skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork to help them contribute to their communities and promote tolerance and peace.

She noted that Bahrain has integrated digital and green transformation into its education strategy to support inclusive learning and prepare future-ready generations in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
