Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science and Culture Secretary-General attends 12th Joint Meeting of UNESCO National Commissions

Samarkand, Nov. 1 (BNA): Dr. Mubarak Abdullah Butti, the Acting Secretary General of the Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, participated in the 12th Joint Meeting of UNESCO National Commissions, held on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed means to strengthen cooperation and coordination among national commissions, as well as exchange expertise and best practices in the fields of education, science, culture, and communication.

Panel discussions focused on empowering youth for peace and human rights, the role of technology in promoting cultural dialogue and sustainable development, and mechanisms for building multilateral partnerships to enhance joint action within UNESCO’s networks.
