Chinese Vice President Praises FII's Role in International Development

   Riyadh, October 28, 2025, SPA -- Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng emphasized that achieving common development and prosperity is a global goal that fundamentally requires innovation, openness, cooperation, and solidarity among nations.
   Speaking at the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) Conference, Han Zheng noted that this year's theme, “Key to Prosperity,” aligns with contemporary trends and the principal concerns of the international community. He also praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s significant achievements under Saudi Vision 2030, including its comprehensive economic and social reforms and the influential Middle East Green Initiative and Saudi Green Initiative.
   Han Zheng explained that China's development experience is structured around four main pillars: promoting innovation-driven development and green transformation to effectively address challenges of climate change and resource scarcity; adhering to openness and cooperation to achieve mutual benefit; prioritizing people’s welfare to ensure common prosperity; and enhancing international solidarity and understanding among countries to overcome global economic challenges.
   He stated that China is actively working to provide an open and globally competitive innovation environment and affirmed the country’s readiness to cooperate with all nations to enhance the resilience and efficiency of global industrial and supply chains and support the stability of the international economy.
   The vice president also highlighted the long-standing relations between China and the Middle East countries, recognizing the Kingdom as an important strategic partner, an active member of the Arab and Islamic worlds, and an influential force on the international stage. He stressed China’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the Kingdom and the wider region within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, focusing on key areas such as energy, finance, investment, innovation, and cultural exchange to achieve shared development and prosperity.
   Han Zheng concluded by underscoring the importance of the Future Investment Initiative Conference as one of the most influential platforms for investment and innovation in the Middle East.
