Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation participates in GCC Coordination meeting ahead of APA session in Moscow

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA):  Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation, headed by MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloum, Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Dr. Hani Ali Al Saati, Deputy Head of the delegation, and MP Bader Saleh Al Tamimi, participated in the Gulf Coordination Meeting, held in preparation for the Committee on Social and Cultural Affairs session at the APA, scheduled in Moscow, Russia, from October 28 to 30.

Legislative delegations from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states reviewed the committee’s agenda, discussed key topics, and coordinated positions to reflect unified Gulf stances on social and cultural issues affecting Asian nations, which will be addressed during the APA session.

The meeting underscores the GCC legislatures' commitment to active, coordinated participation that reflects the aspirations and consistent positions of member states on matters on the APA agenda.
